Welcome to
Sierra Magnifica Christmas Tree Farm
Just west of the “Apple Hill” agricultural and recreation area of Camino, CA, in the El Dorado County town of Placerville, sits a breathtaking 20 acre Christmas Tree Farm known as Sierra Magnifica. The farm was so named because it has a lovely, unobstructed 180 degree view of the magnificent Sierra Nevada Mountain Range -- well-known to many as the Crystal Range.
For those of you who haven’t visited Sierra Magnifica before, this 20 acre farm features several popular varieties of Christmas Trees in both choose-and-cut and pre-cut versions, colorful hand-crafted wreaths made weekly from fresh evergreen boughs, tree packaging services, and relaxing family picnic areas, to make your annual visit an enjoyable one.
George and Sherry are pleasant, down-to-earth people, and they and their family helpers are extremely personable. You can either choose to select and cut your own tree, or request their assistance with cutting “Just by hollering”, George says.
Your tree cutter can also double as your family photographer to capture your whole group’s special moments on film. And don’t forget your family dog. Dogs are welcomed too, if on a leash.
Many of George and Sherry’s customers return generation-after-generation, year-after-year for the high quality trees and great personal service they’ve come to expect from Sierra Magnifica.
George, Sherry, and the crew look forward to seeing you this year, and for many years to come, at Sierra Magnifica Christmas Tree Farm.
